A full-stack movie discovery platform with user authentication, personalized collections (favorites & watchlists), ratings and reviews, and a rich analytics dashboard, plus an admin panel for full site moderation. Pulls data from the TMDB API, with a weekly sync keeping the library current. The SQL is the real showpiece, with window functions, subqueries, a custom hidden-gems scoring algorithm, and a normalized 18-table schema. Ships with GitHub Actions CI/CD, 86% test coverage, and a RESTful API with 13 endpoints.
A real-time tower defense game running in the browser, built with a server-authoritative Go backend and a React + Canvas frontend. All game logic, including BFS pathfinding, projectile physics, tower targeting, and damage calculations, lives on the server at 60 FPS. The client just renders. Five tower types climb through four upgrade levels each before permanently evolving into one of two terminal forms, spread across 6 maps with a difficulty order settled by a fixed-budget simulation rather than guesswork.
The Homelab
A snapshot of what's currently running at home. Media server, book pipeline, monitoring, home automation, and a handful of self-built tools, all running on a small self-hosted server behind a reverse proxy and tunnel, with no ports opened to the internet.
Primary workstation for development and gaming
A mini PC running Unraid, hosting the docker stack
A multi-bay USB enclosure with drives of varying sizes, connected to the media server
Wi-Fi 7 router and a multi-gigabit switch connecting everything
